I am a senior citizen not technically savvy with digital apps and gadgets. Unlike some property agents I met in the past, Mr Gabriel is able to come down to my level to patiently understand my needs as a lay person and besides assisting me in the various applications with HDB, he painstakingly endeavoured on his own initiative to apply for a housing grant from the HDB. Fairly and honestly, I would not have gotten the grant without his help given my lack of familiarity with the housing aspects. As my selling agent, during negotiations with the buyer, he skilfully and successfully bargained with his opposite number to enhance the selling price by another $20,000 for my mainsonett on his own professional judgment. Mr Gabriel has also assisted me as my buying agent in procuring a spacious flat unit at a good price and ambient location based on my needs as conveyed to him. His knowledge is not limited to the paperwork process with HDB and the associated incidentals, he gave me a comprehensive overview of the architectural layout of each selling flat with its pros and cons where he accompanied me to, which was of constructive help in enabling me to reach a tenable decision to purchase the apartment I am now residing in. He further offered honest, value - added support services through sound advice and technical information like an engineer on renovation particularly the carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. He reminded me that I could call upon the town council to help remove 3 bulky items per month which drastically reduced the costs of disposal of remains from renovation for me. He also informed me that ERA has affiliated renovation associates for me to check out essential information which I did. All in all, he was meticulous and professional in his work, always courteous and exhibiting impressive soft skills which is not always seen in younger sales people these days. My trust in him is well-placed and I am amenable to writing this testimonial for his performance as a licensed estate agent. In due course, I would be engaging him to source for a reliable tenant for room rental as a result-oriented agent.
